AMC 2nd General Conference Benin : this morning devotions were led by Bishop Joseph Bundaka, Presiding Bishop, Tanzania Methodist Church.

1 chronicles 22: 17-19

1. Mother Teresa felt surrounded by darkness and felt what seemed to be the absence of God

2. We as the church are also facing a lot of hardship and sometimes we overcome with fear and sometimes death is surrounding us. What we have to know though is that God is with us

3. Ours like with John Wesley to make sure the mystery of God will be known by everyone

4. We are here to pave the way of social holiness in Africa- let every man and woman do the work of God, because God is with us.

5. If we want God to be with us we must put away sin otherwise the presence of God will depart from us

6. As John Wesley says- do not harm others

7. Do good and stay in love with God; we called to have compassion and live a monastic life of prayers, meditation and living life dedicated to God

8. God will never leave nor forsake us.
