The Childcare Desk within the Mission Unit seeks to effectively and efficiently manage and
coordinate all matters that affect Children including assisting local churches to be compliant in
all matters concerning children. Manage and monitor the Child Care structures within Synods in
order to facilitate proper and professional functioning of childcare facilities across MCSA.
Ensure that all MCSA Childcare projects and facilities are registered with relevant government
departments within the Connexion. Facilitate the development and implementation of the Early
Childhood Development Centre strategic plan for the Connexion. Ensure capacity building of
Childcare practitioners to ensure quality care, support and services for the Children.
