Methodist Students’ Society : READY-TO-HELP CAMPAIGN 2024.
Connexional MethSSoc, will launch it’s annual #ReadyToHelp campaign during the 2nd week of January 2024.
As part of our mission pillars , more precisely on Academic support, the Ready To Help is one of our fundamental mission activities aimed to ensure our visibility, relevancy and existence within campuses and to further champion access to and success within institutions of higher learning to all students but more especially those whom were previously disadvantaged due to their economic and social status.
2023 has been a very difficult year for many students and we have experience a number of setbacks, even though sometimes it was beyond our control we worked hard to ensure that students do not get excluded from the system mainly because they cannot afford, that is why we continue to call on decommodifying of education. However, reasons such as lack of finance must not be the reason to exclude any academically deserving student from their right to quality education.
This year’s Ready-To-Help will launch officially from the day majority of Universities and Colleges opens their doors (08 January 2024) and will run up until the last day of registration process 28th February which also forms part of the MCSA Education month where leaders and members of MethSSoc will be hands on towards this vigorous and robust project of ensuring a better access to quality education.
Connexional MethSSoc further commits itself as we have done this year to provide the best registration process and experience to both new and returning students. Our student-friendly members will be on site and online working hard to ensure that prospect students have a smooth registration experience in 2024. Look out for them.
