8.3 THE COMMUNICATIONS UNIT<\/h3>\n

8.3.1\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0The\u00a0Conference\u00a0shall\u00a0appoint\u00a0a\u00a0Director\u00a0to\u00a0the\u00a0Unit.\u00a0The\u00a0Director\u00a0is\u00a0a member of Conference and of the Connexional Executive.<\/p>\n

The task of the Communications Unit shall be to effectively communicate\u00a0the\u00a0MCSA\u00a0vision\u00a0of\u00a0healing\u00a0and\u00a0transformation.\u00a0To\u00a0this end\u00a0the\u00a0Unit\u00a0shall\u00a0provide\u00a0a\u00a0service\u00a0of\u00a0communicating\u00a0information\u00a0on the life and witness of the Methodist Church of Southern\u00a0Africa.<\/p>\n

Communications\u00a0Advisory\u00a0Board<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

8.3.2\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Conference\u00a0shall\u00a0appoint\u00a0a\u00a0Communications\u00a0advisory\u00a0Board<\/p>\n

consisting of the\u00a0following:<\/p>\n

A\u00a0Bishop (Chair); Director\u00a0of\u00a0the\u00a0Unit;\u00a0General\u00a0Secretary;\u00a0Mission\u00a0Unit Director and five (5) selected members knowledgeable in, inter alia cor-\u00a0porate\u00a0communications\u00a0and\u00a0strategic\u00a0management,\u00a0marketing,\u00a0etc.<\/p>\n
