Epworth Children's Village

Winter has arrived and this is evident in the bitterly cold temperatures we are currently experiencing. For some, winter means new winter woollies, warm fleece blankets and keeping cosy next to the fire with a cup of hot chocolate. For the 88 children currently in residential care at Epworth Children’s Village the reality is somewhat different.

Epworth Children’s Village in Germiston is a residential care facility for children who have been abandoned, abused or neglected. Epworth relies on the generous support of the community to ensure that these children are provided with the care and support that they are entitled to.

Epworth would like to appeal to the community to help our children stay warm this winter. We need a variety of winter woollies. These include: winter pyjamas, slippers and dressing gowns, jerseys, tracksuits and blankets Because our children are so special and need extra special care and love, we especially like to ask that you consider a gift of a BRAND NEW set of pyjamas, slippers, dressing gown, jersey, tracksuit or blanket. The children at Epworth range in age from 4 to 18 years.

If you would like more information on sizes etc, please contact Roberta Allen on 011 827 5732. Thank you for considering our request and keep warm!
